Main Focuses for Election 2021:

The Carbon Tax

When Canadians pay more at the pump, the price of everyday living increases. The carbon tax is theft, given that Canada is carbon neutral, and in some places a carbon sink, due to our vast forests, wetlands, agricultural land, grasslands, and prairies. Cutting the Carbon tax means more money in your pocket, and less money spent on every day living.

Transparency and Accountability

Canadians across the country have brought attention to the lack of transparency, accountability, and ethical behavior from their leaders. With certain leaders flip-flopping on the issues that matter to Canadians day to day, Canada needs a strong compass which will "Point True North". This transparency and accountability will not only benefit the country, but also it's citizens.

Standing Against Censorship

Canada is first and foremost a free country, which promises the freedom of speech and free expression to all its citizens. Putting the People first, we will ensure that the rights and freedoms of each and every Canadian citizen are upheld and protected against those that would threaten our speech and our democracy.

Advocating Individual Responsibility

The People's Party and its members all stand strong for individual responsibility and freedom, and strongly oppose government mandates which threaten the rights and freedoms of everyday Canadian citizens. We desire a return to normal where the rights of Canadians are respected, upheld, and not infringed upon by their government.

Supporting Hardworking Farmers

The People's Party has stated that it will phase out the supply management system over a number of years to allow farmers time to adapt, compensating them for the lost value of their quotas, and in doing so, will allow Canada's dairy, egg, and poultry farmers to thrive and sell their products internationally. By doing so, we aim to enable competition in the marketplace and aid farmers by allowing them to export their products internationally. Tylor Baer, as the Candidate in the riding, aims to uphold that commitment to the best of his ability, pending election.
